Great question! Depending on which product you are using (chews, powder, oils, ear cleaner, shampoo, dental water, etc.) and your dog's weight, we recommended the following daily quantities:

Chews (daily):

• 25 lbs or less: 1 chew
• 26-75 lbs: 2 chews
• 76 lbs or more: 3 chews

The best thing to do however is to follow the directions on the back of the bottle. We recommend slowly introducing any new product to your pup's daily regimen. Some customers have found it best to split their chew portions throughout the day, while others prefer to give the full amount at one time.

Keep Grass Green and Calming Hemp (original and Premium) are two products we do recommend spreading throughout the day, as their results are more time-sensitive. Hemp Calming's effects typically last between 3-7 hours, depending on your dog.

It can take up to 4-6 weeks for the full effects to be apparent for some dogs, while others can just take a few days. It is especially important to remain patient and give the full recommended amounts consistently for our joint health and allergy products! Consistency is key!

If you have a particularly large breed of dog (100lbs+) and 3 chews does not seem sufficient feel free to increase the daily chew amount to 4 chews.

Meal Topper Powder (daily):

• Under 30 lbs: 1 scoop
• 30 lbs or more: 2 scoops

Add the recommended scoop(s) to your dog's food daily to boost flavor and support gut health, promote a healthy response to seasonal allergies, and for skin health! Some customers have found it helpful to mix with water for a dry food topper. Mix the topper into the food thoroughly to coat the kibble or wet food.

Oils (daily):

• 0-15 lbs = 1/2 pump (1ml)
• 15-25 lbs = 1 pump (2ml)
• 25-50 lbs = 2 pumps (4ml)
• 50-75 lbs = 3 pumps (6ml)
• 75+ lbs = 4 pumps (8ml)

Pump oil directly onto dog's food and mix well. Please check each bottle for any differing recommendations depending on size or function.

Ear Cleaner (use as needed, up to daily):

1. Shake well before use.
2. Lay dog or cat on its side and wipe away any debris from inside the ear flap.
3. Turn bottle upside down and apply solution generously into the ear canal.
4. Lightly rub the base of the ear for 30-60 seconds and make sure your dog or cat doesn't shake the solution out of its ear right away to ensure the liquid penetrates the ear.
5. Wipe the insides of the ear flap with a soft cloth or cotton ball.
6. Use anywhere from daily to 3x a week depending on severity of infection, discharge, or odor.

If your dog doesn't enjoy this process, soaking a cotton ball with the solution and wiping out their ears may work as an alternative.

Shampoos:

1. Shake well before use.
2. Wet hair/coat with warm water. Apply 4-6 pumps or capfuls of shampoo to start or enough to create a soapy later. Increase amount of shampoo used as needed, depending on the size of your pet and the amount of fur/hair they have.
3. Massage into coat/hair and allow the shampoo to sit for 5-10 minutes if possible.
4. Rinse with clean water and repeat up to 3-5x a week for optimal results.

Our shampoo is for topical use only on cats, dogs, and horses.

Most customers see a positive response within 30 days of consistent and correct use, though some start seeing a difference in their pet within a few days! It is very important to give the daily recommended amount as instructed on the product label.

Our Allergy and Joint Health products typically require the most patience and may take up to 4-6 weeks to see the best results.

Hemp Calming is to be given on an as-needed basis and typically lasts 3-7 hours per chew depending on your dog. Keep Grass Green is best utilized by splitting up your dog's recommended amount throughout the day.

Definitely! Most of our products are compatible with each other because they're made from safe, natural ingredients.

Some things to watch out for:

We recommend not giving your dog too many of our chews that have hemp in them. For example, if you're combining our Hemp Mobility and our Hemp Calming, we recommend just giving one of them on a regular daily basis (and giving the other one every few days). Usually Hemp Calming is used only on an "as needed basis" and is not given every single day.

We recommend giving lower amounts if more than one daily product contains probiotics (Digestive Probiotics, Allergy Skin Health Food Topper, Allergy Support, Allergy Skin Health, and more) to ensure that your dog is getting a balanced amount. We also recommend slowly introducing any new probiotic products as your pup adjusts. For example, If you are giving your 55lb dog both Digestive Probiotics and Allergy Skin Health, try giving half of each for the first day or two, then give one full for another day or two, then work your way up to 1 full chew each. Some people do find it works best to give the full amount of each product daily, but we strongly recommend making any transition or increase slowly for the comfort of your dog. You may also need to stop giving other digestive supplements that include prebiotics and/or probiotics. Providing too many prebiotics and/or probiotics at once can have undesired effects.

We also don't recommend combining our Advanced Hip + Joint and Hemp Mobility products because they contain some of the exact same active ingredients. If you would like to combine them please alternate them on different days and never double up on them to increase the overall recommended amount.

This almost never happens! While most dogs love the flavors of our chews (9 out of 10 dogs in blind taste testing gobbled them up), all dogs are different and so are their preferences! Our products are made with natural flavoring to give them a delicious and real taste.

If for whatever your reason your dog still doesn't like them, here are a few tricks that others have found to be helpful:

• Crumble and add to their regular food (sometimes with a little water)
• Cover in peanut butter (make sure there is no xylitol as an ingredient!)
• Wrap in a slice of deli meat or cheese

We also have a variety of flavors for many of our products and continue to develop more!

Many of our customers see significant improvements in their dogs' health and quality of life but our products are not intended to replace the advice of your veterinarian. You should always consult with your veterinarian before making any changes to a prescribed medication routine.

We are confident our products will make for a better quality of life for your pup! Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a magic pill that will work 100% of the time for 100% of dogs. About 80%-90% of our customers DO see positive results with their dogs after consistent use with the recommended daily amounts.

Not at all! It is a common misconception that Hemp contains THC because of the relation to the marijuana plant. The Organic Hemp Powder and Oil that we use is 100% free of THC and contains ZERO psychoactives. This is because our Organic Hemp Powder and Oil are made from very specific parts of the hemp plant that do NOT contain any psychoactive properties or THC. Your dog will not get high off our products that contain hemp but will reap the health benefits of the omegas in hemp to help support their joint, anxiety, and skin/coat issues.

Turmeric
Turmeric root is a natural ingredient that helps support healthy inflammatory pathways and has been found to help with joint stiffness.

Glucosamine HCL:
A 30% more concentrated version of Glucosamine, Glucosamine HCl helps produce more "cushioning" around joints and is absorbed quickly to promote mobility and joint flexibility. When combined with Chondroitin Sulfate, it's effective at helping with joint discomfort associated with normal, daily activity.

Chondroitin Sulfate:
Chondroitin is a component of connective tissues found in cartilage and bone. When combined with Glucosamine in the correct amounts, Chondroitin Sulfate can help support a normal inflammatory response in joints and help joint function by supporting joint cartilage and tissue health.

PurforMSM™:
PurforMSM is a premium, higher quality version of MSM, a naturally-occurring organic sulfur source that helps promote joint mobility and elasticity. Pre-clinical and clinical studies support the efficacy of MSM in supporting joint health and range of motion. Research shows that MSM helps support a normal inflammatory response.

Vitamin C:
An ingredient that delivers nutrients to joints to promote joint health and improve stiffness. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) also stimulates the production of collagen and glycosaminoglycans that are essential for joint health and mobility.

Hemp Powder + Oil:
A naturally occurring powder or oil derived from the hemp plant that is rich in omegas and can help support a normal and healthy inflammatory response in joints. Hemp powder and oil is harvested from only a particular part of the hemp plant and contains absolutely no traces of THC so it will not cause psychoactive effects in your dog.

Green Lipped Mussels:
We get our Green Lipped Mussels from the waters near New Zealand. Their use in hip and joint products is backed by clinical research and studies. They are high in Omegas as well as DHA, EPA and a more rare Omega called ETA. They also provide nutritional building blocks for supporting joint structure and cartilage.

Collagen:
You'll find standard collagen or a more premium patented form called Balanced Kollagen in many of our hip and joint products. Usually derived from egg shell meal, the collagen in our products supports connective tissue and cartilage in joints to help with joint stiffness.

All of our products are manufactured in the U.S.A. in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) certified facility that is FDA registered. Our facilities have additional quality certifications like SQF (Safe Quality Food), NASC, and APHIS. As a company we are also members of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).

There is a stamp or sticker on the bottom of each jar that includes the Lot # and Expiration (“Best By”) Date.

Absolutely! While some issues (like hip and joint problems) are most common in older dogs and bigger breeds, all of our products may be beneficial for puppies, old dogs, small dogs, and big dogs. Because puppies in particular have specific health requirements, we do recommend checking with your vet before starting your puppy (under 1 year old) on any of our supplements. Be sure to always follow the directions on the back of the bottle to make sure you're giving the correct amount for your dog’s weight.

CAUTION: Use of PetHonesty supplements in pregnant or breastfeeding dogs has not been tested. Please check with your veterinarian before giving our supplement treats to a dog that is pregnant or breastfeeding.

We do! Some of our current non-meat flavors include: peanut butter, pumpkin, and pumpkin-coconut. Rest assured though that all of our meat flavoring comes from REAL, natural ingredients for a delicious and nutritious taste.

Use of PetHonesty supplements in pregnant or breastfeeding dogs has not been tested. Please check with your veterinarian before giving our supplement chews to a dog that is pregnant or breastfeeding.

Always store your jar in a cool, dry space where your pup does not have direct access. However, if your dog does consume more than the recommended daily amount, observe your dog for any abnormal behavior and contact your vet if you have any concerns. Our products are made with natural ingredients and are rigorously tested to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
